Paul Brookes – biographyI have always admired 'Bernie Taupin' a man whose words do the talking. To write 'Your Song' at 17 and have the success it did is truly a remarkable talent. A man in the background who continues to write hit after hit, is the man I most admire, look up to and want to be.
In 2014, I wrote a song called 'Every Time I See You'. To my surprise was wanted by a qualifier for Romania's entry for Eurovision that year.
Romania had 350 entries and after careful consideration the entries got dwindled down to 150 - my song was included in the 150.
Then the list of entries was shortened to 15. My song finished 17th so just missed out but extremely proud of my achievement.
